In an effort to follow the trend discussed here, we have started several new programs here at Saint John, dedicated to support full-time Parish Family members. Our STEAM summer camps have been wildly successful, as those of you who have been in the hallways of the PLC, hearing the beautiful music and kids working on their robots can attest to. We will also be establishing evening Masses, for those that would like to attend during the week, but work conflicts make it difficult to make our morning Masses.
There are two new events that we want to make sure you are aware of as well:
- August 11th, 6:30 PM – Back to School Night: Fun, Food and Prizes for families with school-age children. Learn some fun exercises, get wellness check-ups, find out more about different Catholic Schools and alternate school options, and get tools to stay healthy during the busy school year. - August 20th, 6:00 PM – Knights of Columbus Doo Wop and White Castle Tribute Night: Celebrate the 50’s and 60’s with golden music from “Brylcream”, the Doo Wop group, and delicious oldies snacks, including White Castle Tribute Sliders!
