The Gospel of John (19:38-42) tells us of Joseph of Arimathea, a disciple of Jesus, who claimed His body and provided a new tomb for the internment. From the model of Joseph of Arimathea flows our ministry.
The Arimatheans are a group of parishioners who attend Funeral and Memorial Masses to provide prayerful support for the deceased and their families on behalf of the Saint John the Evangelist community.
