Father John traveled this week to Immokalee in order to deliver Saint John’s Vacation Bible School Kid-to-Kid program, our Parish Feeding Program. Shirley Bender provided a list of the types of food needed to sustain homeless and others that do not have enough to eat. Our families worked together to fill over 200 Saint John bags full of food.
He met with some of the staff who assist children with abusive situations as well as discussed the additional support our parish will be providing to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Catholic Charities and the people in Immokalee. Saint John is dedicating itself to turning our Mission into Action, especially for those that need our support close to home.
