Saint John is proud to be invigorating our programs across the spectrum of parishioners, to include the whole “Family” of the Church. One group in particular that we will be focusing on this year is Young Adults. We have many organizations and ministries that provide engaging events, and we wish to provide additional programs that will compliment these ministries.
Theology on Tap
Saint John (and several other parishes) will be providing a weekly, free social event where individuals and couples can come together to discuss faith and religion in a relaxed, open, and inclusive environment. Theology on Tap will be every Tuesday, starting September 9th. The rotation of locations is:
- 1st Tuesdays – Saint John the Evangelist
- 2nd Tuesdays – Saint Agnes
- 3rd Tuesdays – Saint Peter the Apostle
- 4th Tuesdays – Saint William
Food and Fellowship
We will also be providing an opportunity for Young Adults to meet out away from the church in order to socialize and engage each other on a monthly basis. We will meet at various local establishments so we can all sample the different offerings the Naples area has to offer and have a chance to talk and get to know each other better. Dates will be variable as we try to find the best day of the month that works for the most people, but the first Food and Fellowship will be Thursday, September 25th at the Boston Beer Garden.
