Saint John is dedicated to serving those that need our love and mercy. We live less than 35 miles from Immokalee, an area where we can have immediate and positive impact in the lives of many of its inhabitants. In order to focus those efforts, Father John has asked our Immokalee Missions Team to collaborate with the various groups within our parish and the larger community and support specific efforts for food, clothing, and shelter. We are looking at purchasing a donation box for Saint John so there will be a permanent location for all donations to be dropped off. Weekly trips will be established with a new church van to transport volunteers and supplies to Immokalee. We are turning our faith into action.
