Bishop Frank J. Dewane confirmed nine parishioners from Saint John the Evangelist last Saturday, May 16, 2015. Fr. John, Fr. Len and Fr. Jim concelebrated the Mass with the Bishop. For the past two years, these young adults from our parish have been preparing for this Sacrament with a program called Chosen, along with retreats and volunteering in various ministries throughout our parish. The Confirmandi participated in a special Confession and Adoration the evening before in order to prepare their hearts for the reception of the Holy Spirit.
