Welcome to Rome!

There was a dream that was Rome. – Marcus Aurelius, “Gladiator”

We are pleased to present to all of our Parish Family and friends our new multipurpose room, Rome!  Rome was not built in a day, but you can see its transformation from our old Library into Rome on our website.

Rome showcases the new “look and feel” of Saint John the Evangelist.  It is warm and inviting, yet clean and precise.  Rome’s color scheme is muted based on the types of activities and events that are planned for its usage: meetings, bereavement receptions, small get-togethers.  You will see small accents in the carpet.  These accents will be more vibrant in the higher energy and impact spaces in the Pulte Family Life Center, the rest of the Parish Activity Center (formally known as the Parish Life Center), and the Claussen Center.  I hope you get a chance during our many events, like our Adult Faith Formation classes, to walk through Rome and experience the difference of this soothing atmosphere.

As we Build Our Future, Serve Our Past, we still need all the gifts, prayers, and support of our Parish Family to reach our Pinnacle Goals.  If you have any questions, please contact Joe Lichwalla, the Campaign Coordinator at 239-495-2001 or email: [email protected].
