It may seem early, but we are certainly noticing the increase in traffic around our church and the Naples area, heralding the return of our seasonal Parish Family Members. We are so happy to see you returning and look forward to working with you especially as we Build Our Future, Serve Our Past. Some wonderful news from our Capital Campaign for those of you who may not have seen it recently:
- We have already exceeded our Core Goal of $8 million pledged! That means not only that the Life Center will be built, but we can start to work on all the existing buildings and begin the essential programs to fill our campus with new and exciting programs for all ages
- We have gathered almost $2 million from those pledges (and other donations)! The quicker we deposit the funds for this campaign, the sooner we can break ground on the Life Center and the renovations for our Church.
- We have over 40% of our Parish Family contributing in some way to this campaign. The standard Florida Catholic parish percentage for campaigns is normally around 32%. We have certainly done significantly better than average, but we want all the Parish Family to participate. That includes those that are unable to provide financial assistance, but would be willing to pray for the successful future of Saint John the Evangelist.
As we develop and start the programs associated with our Build Our Future, Serve Our Past campaign for all members of our Parish Family, like the Catholic Adult Organization and CYO, we need our entire Parish Family to give in order to reach our additional goals.
