We are bringing our community together and having fun unleashing our creative and musical talents with four successful open mic nights on the first Thursday of every month and our very first Paint and Wine night on January 31st.
Our open mic nights have been filled with music by our own church musicians, Net Team, some fun accordion players, poetry, comedy, and even some yodeling! The mic is open for everyone of all ages to come up, so come share your talent with us. These nights have been such a relaxed and wonderful way to get to know each other and appreciate the talents God has given us.
Our very first Paint and Wine night was a huge, sold out success! Jennifer Norqual’s step by step guidance led to some wonderful masterpieces and interpretations of the Naples Pier. It was another fun and relaxed night getting know each other filled with so much excitement and laughter. Sipping some wine, talking to each other, all while learning to paint on a canvas made for just the perfect evening. While we all painted the same painting, no two interpretations were the same and were all unique and beautiful in their own ways. A nice lesson learned was that we can use our mistakes on the canvases and turn them into something beautiful just as in real life.
