Faith cannot be shared if it is practiced apart from life – Pope Francis
The results are in! We have had over 1,400 individual responses to our new programs survey from our Parish Family. These responses span multiple age groups for our three primary categories of efforts: sports and wellness, social and spiritual, and arts and music. These next few weeks, I wanted to share the priorities we have been given by you to enhance the programs here at Saint John the Evangelist. The first age group we will focus on is Children, ages infant to 12 years old. The survey says:
Some of the additional requests that stand out for children’s activities also included:
- Cooking Classes
- Gardening
- Golf Instruction
- Theater Productions and Acting
We will be choosing the top priorities from these results and developing programs over the next year to respond to your needs. Stay tuned for more survey information in the upcoming bulletins and online, where you can see all these results together.
While the money has been pledged in our Build Our Future, Serve Our Past capital campaign to build our Life Center and some of our other urgent needs, we still need our entire Parish Family to give in order to reach our additional goals, including the detailed execution of the above programs.
