Passion of Jesus by the Saint John Community Theater for All Ages
Have you ever experienced the story of the Last Super through the Crucifixion of our Savior live on stage? Our very first theatrical production in the Life Center will be a musical of the Passion of Jesus. This show will be available to the larger community, and we need our entire Parish Family to join in the production, from acting and singing to lighting, set building, and stage management. If you have ever wanted to participate in a play, now is your chance!
Auditions will be on January 8, 2019 and January 10, 2019 from 4-7pm. Please email our Artistic Director, Jennine Fuentes, at [email protected] for more information! Youth and adults of all ages are welcome!
Singers: Please come prepared to sing 16 bars from a song, preferably in the classical or traditional style. Art songs, hymns, musical theater songs are the suggestions.
Acapella or karaoke is requested. There will be no accompanist.
Actors: Cold reading of scenes or monologues from the piece will be given at the audition. You will have time to practice alone or with a partner before auditioning. You do not need to memorize the material.
There is no dance audition. Please wear comfortable regular clothing.
