Memorial Garden Update

image4If there is one spot on campus that I constantly receive positive feedback about, it is our Memorial Garden. This spot immediately next to the church is a quiet and serene final resting place for our parish family members. Over the years, it has been tended to by both staff and volunteers dedicated to enhancing its beauty and its support to those who visit their loved ones. I hope you have a chance to view the Memorial Garden and see just how wonderful it is. For those of you that visit it frequently, especially those of you with family and friends interred within the Garden, did you know that we have planted rose bushes and geraniums throughout the space so you can pick flowers to place on the resting places? Please feel free to do so as an honorarium.

As part of our stewardship of the Memorial Garden, we wanted to let those who have left items in the Garden over season and Easter, like artificial flowers, gifts, and mementos, know that we will be removing those items over the week of April 27th. If you would like to collect your items, please come to the Memorial Garden by April 26th.

If you have any questions about our Memorial Garden, please contact our office and we can provide any details you may desire.
