May Crowning Celebrates Our Parish Family Mothers and Mary

Mother’s Day was extra special this year as our First Communicants dressed up again for their second communion and the Crowning of Mary.  Children wore sashes of blue in honor of Mary and each placed a white rose at her feet.  Lila Barson, escorted by Angel Ruiz,  then crowned the statue of Mary and Fr. John prayed a special blessing!  This beautiful statue of Mary will remain on the altar in the church for the month of May before being placed in our Parish Activity Center Ballroom.  We are thankful to Donna Boucher who coordinated such a lovely event, Epiphany Bakery for the delicious cross cookies and for Kay and Andy Sanfelippo whose behind-the-scene efforts made this day so special!
