The dedication of hundreds of our Parish Family members, along with the vision Father John has laid out for our Catholic Church, comes to fruition on March 18, 2017. Bishop Frank Dewane will join Father John and all of us to celebrate the Ground Breaking of the Pulte Family Life Center at 1 PM, in the back field behind our current buildings. Please join us in this next step to Build Our Future, Serve Our Past.
It is quite extraordinary that we are breaking ground on this brand-new initiative in Southwest Florida for the Catholic faith exactly two years from the beginning of this Capital Campaign. Your prayers, support, and gifts have accomplished this momentous achievement in such a short time. While there is no doubt that we are the most active Parish Family in the area (we now have over 5,000 events and activities on our campus annually, aside from Masses and Services), we are entering a new phase in our parish life. Father John made it clear two years ago that we must provide a “third space”, someplace where our community can enjoy themselves in a safe, enlivening, and engaging environment. We have developed the Life Center to do just that, for every age group, and every interest. From CYO sports, arts, and social activities for the youth to bocce, concerts, and refreshments for adults, this Life Center will be a place you can spend an hour after Mass, or your whole day, with programs that will enrich your mind, body, and soul, all in the same place.
