April 2019 was a significant month for our repair and renewal efforts for our church building here at Saint John. The transformation of the Liturgical environment became truly apparent, along with the substantial infrastructure improvements (lighting, sound, plumbing). By bringing down the scaffolding early, we are now able to move forward with the flooring and new altar, both of which are critical steps to complete the church sooner than anticipated.
To top it off (literally), our steeple arrived and was fastened to the completed roof. The new speakers will be able to sound any bells we would like to play, and could even broadcast our Mass to the entire local area, if needed.
