A Thank You To Our Parish Family: Support for Summer Camps

Our church has been blessed with many new programs, some of which are the first of their kind in the area.  One I have mentioned several times is the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Music) summer camp.  If you have not had a chance to see it for yourself, it is quite extraordinary.  The youth of the area were able to be exposed to advanced technology and learn how art and music influence the world around us all at the same time.  This program will be moving off campus for the school year due to the fact that we do not have a way to get after-schoolers to our campus (can’t wait for those church vehicles which are part of our Capital Campaign…) but will be back next summer and will have a permanent home here in the new Life Center.

I wanted to share a thank you note for our parish from one of the participants from STEAM:

Thank you so much for helping me to be able to go to S.T.E.A.M it was the best camp I have ever gone to in my whole life! It was a blast! Now I am finally able to say that summer camp was amazing! Thank you for all your help!
