VBS Returns to Saint John with a Roar!
God is so good and we are so blessed by the gifts he gives us each day! Our Vacation Bible School was filled with love, joy, service, dedication and the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ! Where do we begin to thank the over 150 volunteers who contributed to this amazing effort! Thank you! Everyone gave so much and then even more at times! All of these efforts are greatly appreciated! A major driving force of our VBS were our youth, the future of our church. Their ability to engage with the young campers made the week exciting and joyful! Our adult volunteers were the glue that held our ROARING adventure together! We had approximately 25 adult volunteers leading our Stations that the groups of children traveled to. These leaders put in endless hours to prepare their lessons and classroom settings. Our Core Team lead the Decoration Team, the Mission Project, all of the Registration and Crew Building as well as the overall running of the program. We couldn’t have asked for a better team! The Holy Spirit was alive in each and every part of our VBS Team. As new friends were made and old friendships rekindled, we look to the future of our parish and pray that all feel welcome and will continue to be a part of the mission of our parish To Know, To Love and TO Serve God and each other.
