There is a group of highly dedicated ministers at St. John whose complete focus is to ensure all of our Parish Family has a completely joyous experience when we attend Mass. They are called Sacristans. Sacristans are responsible for the setup of our church, the preparation of all Masses and services within those walls, and countless other functions. From ensuring clean clergy vestments to replacing all the candles for prayers near our Blessed Mother and Saint John statues, the Sacristans handle every facet of the church. You may see them placing items on the Altar or checking the book before Mass, as well as cleaning up afterward. If you enter our church, you are supported by the Sacristan in all your faithful activities. At St. John, we have a wonderful Sacristan named Lan Tran, who leads a core set of ministers who devote their time for all the rest of us.
