Ministry Fair Provides Volunteer Opportunities During Parish Picnic

PicnicOur bulletin front-page story this week continues the build-up to one of the most exciting, fun-filled events in our Parish Calendar, the Parish Picnic. I want to ensure everyone feels welcome at our Parish Picnic. The Men’s Club does a wonderful job in providing food, we have drinks for all ages, and the program will be focused on our Capital Campaign for the Future of our Parish Community. One part of the day that I do not want overshadowed is the Ministry Fair. Every active Ministry within our Parish Family will be in attendance in the Ballroom, with a table and volunteers to describe their mission and give you a chance to learn more about how you can join.

One of the biggest questions I have gotten over the past few weeks with our tremendous parishioners is how they can get involved. I hope you will take a few hours out of your Sunday and come to the Ministry Fair. The dedication and devotion our Ministries have To Know, To Love, and To Serve God is extraordinary. The activities, programs, and events we have due to their efforts enliven our Catholic Community. I am looking forward to seeing each and every one of you there.
