Help Wanted

Ministry and Employment Opportunities at Saint John

As we continue to expand our services and Ministry efforts here at Saint John during this challenging time, we have several critical needs to ensure our Parish Family and the Community is taken care of effectively:

  • AV Ministry: Have you ever wanted to run a TV station, or direct a movie? Our Parish Family provides one of the highest quality streaming Mass functions in the area, if not the country (we have been told). Streaming our Masses takes a mixture of skills both in technology and the arts. It is very easy to learn and we have opportunities every day for someone to assist in providing our joyous message out to the world via our virtual Masses and Services. If you are interested, please contact JP Boucher: [email protected]
  • Ushers and Greeters: We want to welcome all back joyfully to our church for our Masses. As we expand the amount of Masses to ensure the health and safety of all who come to participate, we need special individuals who can lovingly and appropriately ensure the policies and procedures for Mass attendance are upheld as well as provide situational awareness to the environment. People may not be able to see the smile behind the mask, but the warmth glows from our Ushers and Greeters as they assist our Parish Family and Friends find socially distanced seating and answer any questions they might have. Please contact Bill Fuller at [email protected]
  • Housekeeping: As we expand the amount of activities on our campus, the effort to keep the facilities safe for all involved increases exponentially. We currently have 2 paid, part-time positions open for enhancing our cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitization processes. If you are looking for work, especially for weekends and off-hours options, please view our job description and apply via the Diocese of Venice Employment Site.
  • Facilities Support: Another position we are looking to fill with paid, part-time effort, is our Facilities Support. Saint John is increasing the level of on-campus activities, in a safe and healthy way. In order to do so, we require additional staff that are willing to work with our physical, technical, and operational environment. Our Facilities Team sometimes works together on setups and services, and this person must also be comfortable with serving by themselves at various hours of the day and evening. Please visit the Diocese of Venice Employment Website to view the job description and apply.
