Have you purchased your “Senior” Prom tickets yet for February 7th? Imagine reliving your prom, with your current Parish Family and friends. A DJ will be playing music from the forties to the eighties to today, allowing everyone to showcase their moves on the dance floor and teach the rest of the room why their generation got it right! Enjoy a full sit-down dinner in your prom-best attire, from tuxedos and ball gowns to your Sunday best to jeans (depending on your prom experience). The principal will be checking ID’s at the door for you young whippersnappers but no need to bring a flask, as beer, wine, and “spiked” punch will be provided, along with non-alcoholic drinks for those under 21 (or for those that do not rent a limousine). After receiving your corsage or boutonniere, you will get a chance to take a picture in our Hollywood Glamour-themed entry and party the night away. At the end of the evening, a King and Queen of the Prom will be chosen!
This new event at Saint John is sponsored jointly by the Men’s Club and the Youth Group, as part of our multi-generational collaboration efforts. It brings together all age groups for food, music, dancing, and laughter. Come stag, with your significant other, or in a group! Tickets are available for $15 for singles and $25 for couples on our website (https://legacysite.sjecc.org/news/2015-senior-prom-at-saint-john) and at the office. As a special prize, if you can name the Saint John Parish Family Member in one of the past prom pictures here, you will receive your Senior Prom pictures for free. See you there!
