Campaign Continues for Additional Renewal

Blessed are those who see God in every person, and strive to make others also discover him. – Pope Francis

img_1300It is beautiful to see our church as the beacon of life and light that it truly is for the area.  We are continuing that focus with the Life Center, CYO and CAO programs.  These new initiatives and the facilities that house them are the legacy we are building here at St. John and they will create the next generation of Catholics, enlivened in their faith and focused on serving their communities.

Our Build Our Future, Serve Our Past Campaign has more to do, however.  We still are looking for more support to renew the Church and the other existing buildings on campus.  As you can see from these great shots of the Church, a new roof is desperately needed.  While we have stabilized the Air Conditioning (and I hope you are all more comfortable now that we have a more reliable management system in place), the sound system and electrical environment both need work.  We will be renovating the church confessionals, and the Narthex as well.  The more support we have from the Parish Family, the more we can do for our Church, which is the center of our faithful engagement.

While the money has been pledged in our Build Our Future, Serve Our Past capital campaign to build our Life Center and some of our other urgent needs, we still need our entire Parish Family to give in order to reach our additional goals, including the detailed execution of the above renovations. If you have any questions, please contact Joe Lichwalla, the Campaign Coordinator at 239-495-2001 or email: [email protected].
