Mark your Calendars: Parish Beautification Day Returns!

DSCN0254For the last few weeks, I have been describing how our parish family is all-inclusive, with every parishioner an active part of our life and our mission. As part of that mission, we want to announce a renewed opportunity for all members to have a chance to take on a piece of the church and help invigorate it. Several years ago, we would have hundreds of parishioners work together to clean, paint, mulch (normally several hundred pounds of it), and plant on our campus. This event, called the Parish Beautification Day, is returning this November 15th! Please get ready to roll up your sleeves and dig into the soil, or clean up those nicks of paint on the corners of the buildings, or wash away the dust and grime on a whiteboard in a classroom. The Buildings and Grounds Committee, along with the Youth Group and other groups, will be there with refreshments throughout the day. Even if you are not physically able to do heavy work, we have opportunities for you to help out, so please join us!
