Religion and journalism are dominant forces in the 21st Century, influencing politics, economics, and social policy. Journalism has been criticized for being anti-religious, controlling what is reported and how it is reported. As a Catholic and a journalist, Lois will discuss the intersection of religion and journalism – whether her religious beliefs influence her reporting and whether there is a place for people of faith in the news industry.
