There is a desperate need in the community of Naples to provide an active and involved venue that includes events, programs, nourishment, and social engagement, especially for Catholic individuals. Youth and young adults are leaving the Catholic Church because they are not finding connection to their lives. Too often, families and individuals will leave the parish grounds immediately after Mass, or simply pass by church on their way to sports or musical events at other churches in the area. The Life Center is to become the beacon of activities for North Naples. From morning coffee and get-togethers for parents after dropping their children at school, card games and wellness activities for retirees, to afterschool activity programs for our children, to evening entertainment on the stage while enjoying refreshments. It will be a place where our most “experienced” parish members can meet and talk over coffee and some food. Perhaps even mentoring the Parish Leaders of tomorrow.
