Some 40 altar servers and youth lectors along with 20 adult chaperones enjoyed an Everblades hockey game at the Germain Arena on January 11. The Altar Servers would like to thank the priests and lectors for inviting them to the Blades – South Carolina Stingrays nail-biter game, which ended with a 1-0 victory for the local team. The servers would also like to thank parishioner Lena Costain for making the ticket arrangements and working with the Everblades staff to make sure the servers and lectors had a wonderful evening to bond with each other and celebrate their joint service to the St. John parish community.
Thank you to all the parishioners for your continued support of the altar servers and youth lectors. Your constant encouragement enlivens the spirit of service within them.
