With our theme of the day, God has the Power to Heal, our rescue crews got right to work making first aid kits for Nepal. These kits were made with donations from our Parish Family, who brought in band-aids, bandages, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, and a whole host of items that the children were able to make into individual kits. Not only did they put in supplies, all the children made notes and prayers to go with the kits, so the individuals who receive these supplies in Nepal can see and feel the love and healing from God. In addition to this wonderful service, everyone had a chance to try and tear the shirt in games, see how God healed in Bible Expedition, and learn about Cole and his father’s illness in KidVid. After munching on a strawberry hilltop snack, they got to sing their favorite songs as they moved half-way up Mount Everest!
