You may have seen several messages from Scott over the years describing the need for our parish family to give generously to the Catholic Faith Appeal (CFA). This is a noble cause for Saint John and the Diocese of Venice, supporting the essential programs of the Diocese, including missions work, Catholic Charities, and many internal services. Each parish is asked to provide a certain amount yearly to this central fundraising effort. Saint John is close to its yearly goal for 2014. This is not only impressive given the amount we are asked to provide, but any additional funds that are given above the goal are returned to the parish as 100% available money. Please continue to give generously to this worthy cause!
