This event raises enough money every year to give $500.00 at Christmas and again at Easter to Diocese of Venice Seminarians to assist them in their education expenses.  Over $70000.00 has been sent to Seminarians over the past 7 years.  This is part of the Knights of Columbus commitment to support the clergy in the Catholic church.

Each year we pick an Honoree from the Clergy at St. John the Evangelist.  This year the event will honor Father James “Jim” Simko.
