2014 Oktoberfest Festival October 4th

Oktoberfest logo(blue with type)Please join the Knights of Columbus and Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church for the First Annual Oktoberfest Festival on Saturday, October 4th, 2014, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

To raise funds to help those in need of assistance in the Immokalee area, including food pantries, health clinics, Habitat, and other local support groups, the Saint John the Evangelist Knights of Columbus Council #11281 will sponsor the first Oktoberfest at St. John. Rain or shine, the event will be held Saturday, October 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.   Planned are games, exhibits, German bratwurst and Schnitzel, as well as refreshments that are part of the traditional celebration of Oktoberfest.  In addition, German musical entertainment will be on hand to ensure a lively celebration.

Available for purchase will be several meal options: Bratwurst/Frankfurter dinner ~ $6.00; Schnitzel (breaded pork or chicken) dinner ~ $8.00; Beef Goulash dinner ~ $8.00; and a Children’s Meal with a Frankfurter or a piece of Schnitzel and Mac and Cheese ~ $4.00. Beer and a souvenir mug, wine and soda will be available for purchase as well.

Entry includes entertainment, games, rides, exhibits, festivities. Adult tickets are $7.00; children ages 4 to 12 years are $3.00; and children 3 and under will be admitted free. Present your online ticket receipt at the Oktoberfest entry gate or in the St. John Parish Office to receive your admission bracelet(s). Tickets are available for purchase in the parish office during regular business hours and at the gate.
