One of the special events we have here at Saint John is Families in Christ. This monthly activity has been established to let all the families of the parish meet, mingle, and learn a little bit about their faith. The timing and format of Families in Christ has changed over the years and based on all of your feedback, I am happy to announce the new structure of Families in Christ. In conjunction with Faith Formation, Families in Christ will move its time back to Sunday morning, before the 11AM Mass, on the first Sunday of each month, providing for consistency. It will also be invigorated in the fashion of our Mission, with quarterly themes that will allow for:
- #ToKnow: Educational events, with age-appropriate breakouts for the youth and parent-focused discussions.
- #ToLove: Social events, where the youth and families will be able to enjoy a special treat like a movie or activity
- #ToServe: Service events, where we will provide support and service to the community
