Thank you to everyone who has submitted their suggestions, ideas, and feedback on the Family Mission Survey. We had over 670 individual responses online to the survey, which far exceeded my expectations. It will take some time to go through all your responses so we can effectively prioritize the Family Mission Programs, but I will be showcasing the themes and specific comments here over the next few weeks so that we can all see the tremendous request for change and engagement for all the areas of the Family Mission.
As you saw last week, we are collaborating with the Religious Education Program to ensure we have a complete educationally focused effort for all the youth of this parish. I hope this increase in Faith Formation will showcase both the “full-lifecycle” support Saint John provides as well as the collaboration around our Parish Mission (in particular the “To Know” component). We are one Saint John parish and I want to thank Margie Lynch for her dedication and devotion to our church and our children. Together, we will ensure there will be effective, exciting, and engaging programs for every parishioner.
