With many of our First Communicants in attendance, Father John celebrated a special Mass today for Mary, Mother of Jesus. After Father’s Homily, over 25 Communicants dressed in blue sashes and their First Communion dresses and suits, assisted Father, Deacon Forrest, the Arts and Liturgical Group and the Altar Servers, in blessing and crowning the statues of Jesus and Mary.
Saint John would like to thank Donna Boucher, leader of the May Crowning Committee, along with Kay and Andy Sanfelippo, Arts and Liturgical, Margie Lynch, Director of Religious Education, Silvia DeFeo and Jennifer Edwards, catechists, for their amazing support and dedication for this special event.
