This week, we wanted to provide some deeper numbers than just the financials. 2019 was another banner year for Saint John the Evangelist. Here are some numbers to showcase it:
The first obvious trend is that we are growing in nearly every facet of the Parish Family, even with the church building being out of commission (which contributed to not being able to provide several weddings in 2018 and 2019). The only exception to that trend is our Funerals, which decreased year-over-year. The next trend to watch is the reduction in Individual Registrations (a single person or widow joining the Parish) as opposed to the sizeable increase in both Couples and Families (with children). It will be very interesting to see the 2020 information on these same statistics as we continue to expand programs that draw more to our Parish Family.
