The Catholic Faith Appeal is a Diocesan effort to fund the tremendous work that the Catholic Church does in Southwest Florida. From feeding thousands of people a week at soup kitchens, to creating the next generation of priests within the Seminary programs, the CFA is our way of supporting larger Catholic initiatives.
The Catholic Faith Appeal funds Catholic Education and Faith Formation, including operations and scholarships at our:
- Catholic Schools,
- Religious Education Office
- Young Adult Outreach
- Campus Ministry and
- Our Lady of Perpetual Help Retreat Center.
Sacramental preparation programs for youth and adults, including First Communion, Confirmation and RCIA, are also supported. Our agencies and programs provide leadership development, workshops and youth rallies and retreats. We are proud to have a number of our youth and adult catechists certified by the Diocese as well.
Your consideration of financial support for the Catholic Faith appeal will be appreciated. Prayerfully reflect on how you can contribute to the Saint John 2020 CFA drive. Currently, one in four families in our Parish support this effort. If every family in our Parish gave to this essential mission, we would easily achieve our goal.
