Saint John Knights of Columbus Council 11281 outperformed themselves with their annual Ash Wednesday Fish Fry, even without the Ballroom. People packed into the indoor/outdoor seating, including our Rome Veranda, and enjoyed succulent fried and baked fish platters, sides, and drinks. Father Bob visited with the diners as they ate, drank, and laughed together. All the proceeds of the evening will go to the Catholic Charities Guadalupe Social Services Center in Immokalee, who desperately need our assistance with the dire needs of the community ravaged by Hurricane Irma. The Fish Fry will continue every Friday evening in Lent, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM, so please stop on by!
