Progress: Meeting and Exceeding the Challenge and Major Construction Commences

True progress quietly and persistently moves along without notice. – Saint Francis of Assisi

The love and generosity of our Parish Family always overwhelms me each time there is a plea for our stewardship.  From the efforts we made after Hurricane Irma, to the daily support for those in need in our community and around the world, St. John always answers the call.  God bless all of you who have made it possible for us to meet the challenge from an anonymous donor, matching his $200,000 donation with $247,375.00 in just 3 weeks!  That is extraordinary!  This match will enable us to not only cover our deductibles for the buildings, but enable us to repair, restore, and renovate our church and other components of the campus.  This coming week, for example, we will be removing the bell tower in front of the church, which was damaged beyond repair from the high winds of the storm.  Every week we will continue to make progress, both small and large, to repair and improve our campus for the Mission of our Parish  Family.

Additionally, we have begun major construction on the Pulte Family Life Center, including the foundations and walls.  This progress on all fronts in due to all of you, both for your gifts of support and prayers, as well as your patience and understanding.

As we Build Our Future, Serve Our Past, we still need all the gifts, prayers, and support of our Parish Family.  If you have any questions, please contact Jean-Paul Boucher, at 239-566-8740 or email: [email protected].
