Becoming Catholic – A Life Journey

RCIAHave you, or a family member, friend, or co-worker ever considered why so many people over the centuries have chosen to be Catholic?

Anyone who, as of yet, has had no real commitment to religion, or has stopped short in their commitment, wondering whether it is worth it, is invited to discover the beauty of the Gospel revealed in the life and teachings of the Catholic Church.

Everyone and anyone who would like to explore “becoming Catholic” is invited to an open informational meeting on Tuesday, September 13th at 7:00 p.m. in the Seminar Room of the Claussen Family Center at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church

Even if you are only mildly interested, take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions and receive answers about “things Catholic”, such as:

• Why have organized religions, and why be Catholic? • What do Catholics believe and what do Catholics do?

Get information with no obligation, no commitment!  This meeting is for those never baptized to investigate what it means to become a Catholic Christian.

This is an opportunity for those baptized in another Christian tradition to explore the process to come into full communion with the Catholic Church.

This will explain how those baptized Catholic as infants but never raised as Catholic can be Con rmed and receive the Eucharist.

No reservation is necessary, just come. God’s invitation is open to all.

But if you are not able to attend this meeting, just contact Jack Kindsvater, Adult Faith Formation and Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) Coordinator to arrange a personal meeting or phone conversation. Leave a message at 239. 556.8740, ext. 3918 or send an e-mail to [email protected].

Invite your family members, friends, co-workers, or others to come and see what it means to be Catholic.
