The second day of our Vacation Bible School started off with some wonderful music sung by Tom Oram and the Miller Sisters, getting all the youth pumped up for today’s theme: God has the Power to Comfort. In order to make the children see the power of God’s comfort, every “Rescue Crew” was able to make a blanket that will be shipped to Nepal as part of our Catholic Relief Services package. After helping with first-aid games, everyone was treated to homemade pizza for snack. They met Cliff, their Bible Buddy for the day and learned more about Catherine of Sienna, our Saint of the Week. Our Rescue Crews are continuing to climb Everest and looking forward to tomorrow!
