The devastating tragedy in Nepal this week, with thousands of people killed and over a million children in need of help has struck all our hearts and souls. Our loving and giving Parish Family has already begun assisting Catholic Relief Services in their efforts, not to mention working with the Red Cross and other relief agencies from around the world to bring water, food, and life necessities to this region in which the earthquake has completely destroyed. It is difficult for me to continue our plans for our Vacation Bible School, Everest, knowing the pain that is enduring in that region, but I am very hopeful that we can use this not only as a lesson to the youth of our parish, but also provide additional support to the children, families, and individuals impacted. We need your help. We have requested the below supplies from our Parish Family as donations for VBS. We will ship all the materials that are donated to assist the people of Nepal once we are completed with our VBS, especially since sheets, tents, and these “decorations” will become essential life-saving materials. Please provide any of the below list:
