New Campus Maps to Make it Simple to Get Around

One of the simplest way to show someone where they need to go when they are not familiar with a location is a map.  It was surprising to me that we have never had maps created for the campus that span all the buildings as well as individual maps of each building.  Since we were planning some major renovations (along with a brand new building), we have been working on these maps to ensure it is easy to explain where to go and how to get there.  These maps will also be utilized by our new event system to show you on screens around campus where your activity is taking place.

One new name change to note is that based on the approved naming convention that our Parish Family voted on two years ago, we are continuing with naming our meeting rooms based on cities of the New Testament.  Rome was the first room to be renamed.  Now, within the Claussen Center (and an entire continent from Europe), the old Seminar Room has been renamed Alexandria.  Not only is this name mentioned in Acts, it fits with the brand new Library that is currently under construction within the Claussen Center.  We had defined part of the Capital Campaign to Build Our Future, Serve Our Past, to include study and tutor space for youth and adults alike.  So, now we will have our Library of Alexandria, one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world.
