We are tremendously excited for the World Meeting of Families, taking place in Philadelphia, from September 22-25, 2015. It brings the focus of our parish family together around the essential topic of families. Further details have been released about the event and we have been working with our travel agent to secure flights and hotel accommodations for all the parishioners that would be interested in attending (and perhaps seeing Our Holy Father for his first visit to the United States as Pope).

One part in particular that should interest our parish is the addition of catechesis materials for all age groups so we can be prepared on the topics of the Meeting. They have age-appropriate materials that I have downloaded for us as well as discussed putting some of the materials in our boutique for purchase directly.
